Cook Books

Thought I'd share some things that I have been working on lately for a custom order. These are big, 8 x 9....and are 75 pages thick inside. They are going to be for 2 sisters, so I wanted to make them sort of the same, yet different. Do you like? These are only the covers for now, and they will be ring bound. I will share the finished pictures when they are complete!

Time for a Sale!!

I just put my raw, naked chipboard pieces on sale at 50% off, time to see them move Ü I've got some flags, sheep, party hats, balloons and lady bugs! Fun stuff! And what can you DO with chipboard? Easy, you can do anything with it Ü You can paint and sand, ink, stamp with rubber stamps on it, cover it with paper, use walnut ink and age it, spray adhesive and cover it with glitter, cover in a thick glue and cover with beads....tons of things Ü What do you do with your chipboard?

I've Been Tagged!

http://mosaicsmith.blogspot.com/just tagged me so here I go!

If you have been tagged just follow these rules, it's fun!1. Link to your tagger and list these rules on your blog.2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog - some random, some weird.3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blog.4. Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

1. I love winter, more than summer.
2. I read westerns, and my favorite author right now is Elmer Kelton.
3. If I could be anyone is history, it would probably be Laura Ingalls Wilder.
4. I love to can everything I can from my garden, I just make pizza sauce, salsa and ketchup.
5. On my toast I have to have mustard...it's one of my snacks Ü.
6. I/We have 3 kids, including a set of identical twins.
7. I have been with my dh since we were both 14....a LONG time ago Ü

I will tag 7 people I have in mind when I can get my blogs straightened out. I have another one that this one keeps on getting mixed up with and I'm not sure how to correct this. I've even deleted the other one and still it will only let me post as if I'm posting from the other blog (even when I'm signed up under this one at the time). Very frustrating.

9 Sets of Christmas Tags

Okay, so I went tag crazy again, made 9 sets of them, and had a lot of fun singin' my Christmas tunes while I made them! There are different styles of paper I used, so if you use vintage or modern I have it! I also have about a gazillion more tags to put in my shop...so watch out for them in the future Ü

TP

What fun!! Not only did we wake up this morning to a white yard, but I caught the little buggers doing it!! hahahaha!! I waited until one of them was right in front of the bedroom window and then BANG I opened up the blinds in a flash and scared the bejesus right out of her!! Good times, good times. We always enjoy the school spirit, and this is the first year that our town allowed tp'ing. You should see what they did to the opposing team's houses and school, now that was picture worthy.

In the Mood for Christmas

So, despite the itching, I did make something fun today Ü I love the holidays, and Fall just seems to make me feel even more like Christmas. Not that I want to rush the holidays, but with December being so near, I can'thelp get in the mood early! Here is what I (and my faithful sewing machine) made today. Love the bright colors, usually I tend to go towards the earthy colors, but this week I'm all for the brights!

Fall and allergies

Have you ever sneezed and coughed and just felt awful for an entire season? I just went for allergy testing and found out why I have. Allergies. What I didn't expect was the testing. 56 scrapes in the back, and then 6 shots in the arm to see if some small hives would become big hives if they put more allergen in a shot form and stuck me with that. 2 days later and I'm still scratching like a dog. Good news, ragweed will become an allergy of the past. 3-5 years from now, I'll be immune to it thanks to hundreds of pokes of allergy shots Ü
