It's All About the Love

Oh.....sweet, sweet Valentines Day! Right around the corner, right? I can't wait for Valentines Day, and so I've already go up a ton of items in my shop for it.
This is my latest addition to my store:

I love the little vintage images on these, so cute! The backs are blank and you could write on them To~ and From~, but they are darling just looking at the fronts Ü

Oh...and look at these really cool papers I have in sets:

There are 12 different Lovely papers in here...see the embossed with foil ones? My favorite!! And the embroidered ones (one is in pink and the other is in red), those are my favorite, too!! And the pink embossed one? Yep, another favorite! Yeah....I have a lot of favorites and you can too, if you purchase this set! See? Easy as that!

Elf Knee Huggers aka These Eyes Are Watching You

You know how sometimes you wish you had eyes in the back of your head? Or eyes everywhere watching what your kids are doing? Well, at Christmas time I do! See the tree? Full of all of those little watchful eyes? HAHA!! Our kids have always been told that the elves are keeping an eye (or eyes) on them, and when Santa comes on Christmas Eve, they tell him if the kids have been bad or good! Does this work? Oh yeah. I recommend one for everyone who has children Ü Just look at their expressions...priceless.

Some More Old Fashioned Tag Goodness

I love these images, they are so pretty. They are all made of old time vintage images and tied off with ribbons, and a nice size for writing on the backs. When I see these, they make me smile and just feel good inside, you know what I mean?

Country Christmas Days here......

I've got to share what we just rode....today is Country Christmas Days where we live, and we just got a nice, long ride on this....SO MUCH FUN!!!! Look at the SIZE of these horses....they're humongous!! It took us all over, and we could stop at any different store we wanted to to go in and shop. Also, free cookies and hot chocolate...YUM!! What a great way to get into the Christmas Spirit Ü

Bookmarks

My nephew and niece love to read books, and wanted new bookmarks, so this is what I made for them. I have their names on the backs in coordinating paper also. I used all scraps on these, and think they turned out pretty cute Ü. You can't tell from the pictures, but the swirls above the cupcake are all glittered!! When I was all done making them, I laminated them with clear contact paper.

Going Green

Okay, maybe I'm not totally going green with everything in my life...but, I've decided no store bought gift wrapping paper this year! That's right, no brightly colored santas, penquins, disney characters, no satiny bows or ribbons that I've paid an arm and a leg for. I am using what I have. And what I have is a LOT of brown paper bags, scrapbooking paper scraps, punches, felt, sewing notions, left-over scrapping supplies and time. Yep, I have time for this project. I think. So far I've got my sister's family done and I'll show you some pics of what I've wrapped up so far, which is quite impressive when I think about all the different embellishments I used Ü. So far I've used an antique atlas (my nephew loves geography), felt, glitter, pipecleaners, rick-rack , tulle, a vintage sewing patter and I even drew a tag myself!
The gifts with the bunnies on the tags are for gifts that they can open when they get my box....cuz hey, what kid doesn't want to open something early (especially from their Auntie)??? What are you using to wrap your presents with this year?

Come on over to my Etsy store and see what I have just put on...you might find something you've been "needing" Ü. I'll also be putting more on soon, so check back!! Happy Tuesday Ü
